Christmas Eve Surprise

I tried to play a game with the pugs... I bought freshly baked dog treats from the local dog bakery, wrapped each one, and placed under the tree. It took the pugs a couple of hours to notice, but took minutes to devour. Amdahl's didn't last...but can you tell that Bendrix is enjoying his snowflake??

A NEW FRUITY TREAT

We often read about Benjamin and Henry on Pug Blog. They are two fawn male pugs who love eating their morning bananas. So I thought that I would see if Bendrix and Amdahl had the same reaction... They did not.

Don't get me wrong...the kids did enjoy eating bananas, but the hunt continued. Soon we discovered the amazing juices of...CLEMENTINES!!!

They think this little citrus fruit is the best thing ever. They patiently sit next to me and watch me eat every slice. How can you resist those puppy eyes?? I cannot, so I must share.

In two seconds the slices are gone...What a natural, fresh little treat.

Amdahl and Bendrix have been enjoying some natural supper, too. Tonight we made chicken parmesan, but for the kids we cooked a small amount of chicken and mixed it with spinach. They really enjoyed it.

It is really hard to watch everything that your child does. I always thought that we were raising our kids to stay away from drugs. Maybe we will have better luck with real kids.
